We wuz Judged

It threatened to rain upon them – but did not.

The Yorkshire in Bloom judges had a nice dry and friendly introduction to Mytholmroyd.

Station and neighbourhood volunteers and supporters showed our visitors round.

Visitors to t’Royd – welcome !

It always nice to be able to show visitors around the station – especially those who remember it when it was a vandalised wreck.

How the local community has changed the railway station, surrounding area and not forgetting the Memorial gardens and village cross.

Out of the blue, we welcomed the Chief Executive of the national passenger watchdog – Anthony Smith of the Passenger Focus.

We sometimes forget what a lovely place we live in – as Anthony said – ‘I was very impressed by what you have been doing – I will come back with the family one day!’
