Starting young and keen

Here we have our newest gardening enthusiasts – Daisy and Stan Hunter – with Steve their Dad.

What a wonderful way to start an interest in gardening and wildlife.

Let us hope they will represent us at the 2010 Yorkshire in Bloom Award……

Getting into the Spring of things…..

First of all, thanks to Jason Boom of Hebden Royd Town Council, for donating all those wildflower plugs.

Our intrepit press-ganged members managed to plant them at the top of the manchester approach – in what appears to be solid locomotive ash.
