Fantastic! Thanks for a Great Effort.

A big thank you to everyone involved with the Spring-clean on Saturday 28 March.

Hebden Royd Town Council have the great idea for community groups like ourselves to organise themselves to clean up the local area.

We were directed by the Environment Warden, Jason Boom and our local Northern Rail Station Manager, Matt Gibson supplied a skip as well as muscle-power. Our resident poet, Andy Glover was there as a valuable pair of hands.

The rest of us (26 in total, excluding 6 month-old Tom who slept through it all) cleared over a dozen bags of litter from the station area.

How does YOUR garden grow?

Thanks to our merry band of ‘Royd station gardeners who not only tackled the shrubs on the Manchester approach, but received tips from the Organic Potato Growers who had their show at Fr Gott’s church.

Never know what we shall be growing next on the station!
